MENTORSHIP

Mentorship as a Pathway to Purpose and Possibility

At Patience Manga Foundation, mentorship is not an extra program. It is a core strategy for transformation.

We believe young people do not just need opportunities. They need guidance, belief, and consistent human support to walk through those opportunities with confidence.

Too many young people in rural and peri-urban Kenya are trapped not because they lack intelligence, but because they lack access to people who can walk with them. Access to mentors. Access to role models. Access to safe spaces where their questions, fears, and dreams are taken seriously. That is where we step in.

Through structured mentorship programs, we pair young people with trained mentors who provide both personal and professional guidance. Our sessions focus on: • Leadership and confidence building • Goal setting and personal discipline • Financial literacy and money management • Entrepreneurship and problem-solving • Workplace ethics and professionalism These workshops help young people not only survive, but learn how to navigate life with clarity and courage.

Career Guidance & Transition Support We support youth as they move from school to work, from uncertainty to direction. This includes: • Career discovery sessions • CV writing and interview preparation • Exposure visits and mentorship talks • Linking youth to training and internship opportunities Our aim is simple: to help young people move from “I don’t know what to do” to “I know where I am going.”
